The Official Score to the Micah Deekan Short Film "The Candy Crucible."

Micah and I had talked early on about this project after we met at the 2019 St. Louis Filmmaker's Showcase Horror Shorts segment where my film "The Murder of Evelyn Cross" and her film " The Boogie Man" were playing. I read the script and knew I wanted to be involved somehow. Thankfully, once the film came to fruition, Micah contacted me, having been impressed with this Stereochrome project's music, as well as my Goth Rock band The Cult Sounds, to score the film. We quickly realized that the film needed a very earthy. haunting, and atmospheric score - so I incorporated a lot of atmospheric drones, tribal drums, odd rhythmic passages, reverse organs, and choral elements.

I hope you enjoy the music from the film and I highly encourage you to go watch it!
